Family Self-Sufficiency Program (FSS)

The eligible family initiates the five-year program (Can be extended for two additional years by HA for good cause) and families will have access to support services that will assist in helping complete their designated goals agreed on from the Contract of Participation (CoP) Individual Training and Service Plan (ITSP). An escrow account, will be established at the time of program initiation and eligible families will begin to earn funds due to increases in their earned income. Once the family completes all of the goals from the ITSP, they will be able to complete the program successfully and access the balance from their escrow account.
